A competition titled “Digital Agricultural Solutions and Smart Farming Idea” was organized at Mingachevir State University by the Department of Economics. Students of the university participated in the competition by presenting innovative ideas based on digital solutions in the agricultural sector.

The main objective of the event was to promote the application of modern technologies in agriculture, enhance students’ creativity and innovative thinking skills, and support the development of smart farming approaches.

Within the framework of the competition, participants presented various projects such as smart irrigation systems, digital monitoring platforms, and data-driven decision-making mechanisms in agriculture. The submitted ideas were evaluated by a jury panel based on innovation, feasibility, and relevance.

At the end of the competition, distinguished participants were awarded and provided with recommendations for further development of their projects.

It should be noted that such initiatives make a significant contribution to strengthening students’ practical knowledge, fostering a startup mindset, and promoting digital transformation in the agricultural sector.
