Unlike the traditional lecture format, the event was organized as an interactive debate and discussion led by Sevinc Samedova. During the presentation, it was emphasized that ethical norms are not merely formal rules, but also a fundamental element of internal culture that leads from data to knowledge and wisdom (Data–Knowledge–Wisdom).
At the event, the university’s legal advisor Polad Atayev and lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Faiq Yusifli delivered speeches, clarifying the legal as well as pedagogical and psychological aspects of the topic. During the discussions, which were held with the active participation of students, a broad exchange of views took place on the role of internal discipline in personal development, as well as on the principles of academic integrity.
The debate, built around real-life situations (case studies), contributed to the development of students’ decision-making skills in ethical dilemmas.
It should be noted that such initiatives serve to foster a transparent, disciplined, and ethically grounded academic environment at the university.
