A training session on “Academic Integrity and Ethical Conduct” was organized at the Ganja Youth House. Xalil Yusifli, a lecturer at Mingachevir State University (MSU), participated in the event as a trainer.
The training, attended by students from various higher education institutions, was met with great interest by the participants.
During the session, the importance of maintaining integrity principles in the academic environment, adherence to ethical standards in scientific activities, and the application of these principles in higher education were widely discussed. Participants were provided with detailed information on topics such as plagiarism, proper citation of sources, accurate presentation of research data, and academic responsibility.
Within the framework of the training, an exchange of ideas was also held on the impact of academic ethical behavior on students’ scientific activities, the development of research culture, and the overall improvement of quality in the higher education system. The topic was explained through presentations and interactive discussions.
At the end of the training, it was emphasized that adherence to the principles of academic integrity not only increases the reliability of scientific work but also makes a significant contribution to fostering responsible and ethical thinking among young people.
