Scientific-practical training on industrial waste management held at Mingachevir State University

A scientific-practical training on “Reuse and Recovery of Industrial Waste” was held at Mingachevir State University, delivered by Natavan Valiyeva, a lecturer at the Department of Physics and Ecology.

The main objective of the training was to provide students with knowledge about industrial waste management, its environmental impact, and modern approaches, as well as to promote sustainable production principles.

During the training, detailed information was presented on the classification of industrial waste, its negative impact on the environment, and modern management methods aimed at minimizing these impacts. Special emphasis was placed on waste reuse, recycling and energy recovery mechanisms, as well as the principles of the circular economy and “zero waste.”

The session also included interactive discussions with students, where an exchange of ideas took place and their questions were addressed.

At the end of the training, it was noted that students gained important knowledge and skills in enhancing environmental responsibility, efficient use of resources, and adopting sustainable production practices.

It should be noted that Mingachevir State University regularly organizes scientific-practical and awareness-raising events aimed at environmental protection, efficient resource management, and the promotion of sustainable development principles.
