On June 23, 2026, Mingachevir State University hosted a presentation ceremony for the official website of the newly established international scientific journal, “The Journal of Scientific Vectors.”
The presentation ceremony was attended by a group of academic and administrative staff members of the University. The main purpose of the event was to organize scientific publishing activities at MSU in line with international standards, to deliver research results to a wider academic audience, and to strengthen the University’s scientific communication opportunities in the digital environment.
Opening the event, Natavan Namazova, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation at MSU, emphasized the importance of the new journal platform in terms of developing research activities at the University, fostering a culture of academic publishing, and expanding international scientific cooperation. The Vice-Rector noted that “The Journal of Scientific Vectors,” as an international peer-reviewed academic journal focused on publishing theoretical, empirical, and applied research in economics and energy engineering, will make an important contribution to promoting MSU’s scientific potential at the international level.
It was noted that the journal will serve as an academic platform for scientific research on economic systems, policy frameworks, the engineering foundations of energy production and infrastructure, energy technologies, energy efficiency, the transition from conventional energy systems to renewable energy sources, as well as the interrelations between economic development and energy technologies.
Later, Aziz Amiraslanov, Chief Specialist of the Digital Transformation Department of MSU, delivered a presentation on the functional capabilities of the journal’s official website. Participants were provided with detailed information about the structure of the website, its user interface, manuscript submission and editorial process management, sections designed for authors, placement of information about the journal, and the organization of the digital publishing process.
During the presentation, it was highlighted that the website will enable the submission, evaluation, and preparation of scientific articles for publication to be carried out in a more systematic, transparent, and efficient manner. At the same time, the importance of the platform in terms of increasing accessibility for international scientific databases, academic search engines, and the research community was emphasized.
At the end of the event, participants’ questions were answered, and an exchange of views was held on the future development directions of the website, the journal’s international indexing prospects, and further strengthening scientific publishing activities at MSU.
