On 13 July 2026, Mingachevir State University (MSU) hosted a meeting dedicated to developing cooperation with “Malham” International Hospital.

During the meeting, MSU Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Natavan Namazova highlighted the importance of collaboration between higher education and the healthcare sector in strengthening students’ practical knowledge and skills, as well as expanding social responsibility initiatives.

Sevda Alizade, Executive Director of “Malham” International Hospital, expressed the hospital’s readiness to support the organisation of awareness-raising seminars, expert lectures, mentoring sessions and professional development programmes for students.

As part of the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document provides for joint activities in medical awareness, scientific and practical training, digital healthcare, biomedical technologies, the promotion of healthy lifestyles, volunteering and career opportunities.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on continuing the partnership through joint research, health days, social campaigns and projects benefiting the wider community.
