On 13 July 2026, a meeting was held between Mingachevir State University and “Nigella Alyalina” LLC to discuss the development of university–business cooperation.
During the meeting, MSU Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Natavan Namazova highlighted the importance of linking students’ theoretical knowledge with the real business environment, developing modern sales and marketing skills, and gaining experience in sustainable business practices.
Nigar Alekberova, Director of “Nigella Alyalina” LLC, expressed the company’s readiness to support training sessions, mentoring meetings and internship programmes for students in e-commerce, digital marketing, brand management, customer relations and entrepreneurship.
As part of the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document provides opportunities for students to undertake internships in the company’s sales, marketing, e-commerce, logistics and customer service departments, while also expanding career and employment opportunities and aligning applied research and student start-ups with real business needs.
The Memorandum also envisages joint initiatives in sustainable packaging, resource efficiency, waste reduction, environmental responsibility, sustainable consumption and green marketing, as well as the exchange of experience in AI-powered sales and customer service solutions.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on continuing the cooperation through a joint action plan and implementing specific projects aimed at supporting students’ professional development.
