Within the framework of the “Youth’s Legal Struggle in the Media” project, which became a winner of the individual grant competition announced by the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan as part of the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty,” another legal awareness training session for young people was organized at Mingachevir State University.

The training aimed to increase young people’s legal knowledge, develop their skills in using media correctly and responsibly, and raise awareness about the protection of rights in the digital environment.

The training was conducted by Mushfig Tariverdiyev, a TOT-certified trainer, career counselor, and coordinator of the Mingachevir STEAM Center. In his presentation, the trainer provided detailed information on the main principles of legal awareness in the media, the rights and responsibilities of young people, and mechanisms for protecting rights on social media platforms. The training was organized using interactive methods and practical examples.

During the training, participants gained fundamental knowledge in the field of legislation and had the opportunity to better understand their rights and improve their ability to work with information in the media in a correct and responsible manner. At the same time, the discussions held during the session contributed to increasing the civic engagement of young people, strengthening their ability to defend their personal and public rights, and expanding their communication and participation opportunities within society.

During his speech, trainer Mushfig Tariverdiyev noted that such awareness-raising initiatives strengthen young people’s ability to protect both their personal and public rights and contribute to the formation of responsible media usage habits.

It should be noted that the project is led by Vagif Fatullayev. The project is being implemented with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty” and aims to make a significant contribution to the legal education and awareness of young people.
