On November 6–7, 2025, a city mini-football tournament among students of higher, secondary specialized, and vocational educational institutions, dedicated to “November 8 – Victory Day,” was held at the sports hall of Mingachevir State University. The tournament was jointly organized by the Central Aran Regional Youth and Sports Department and Mingachevir State University.

The main objectives of the tournament were to support the development of mini-football, strengthen patriotism among young people, promote respect for statehood and national values, highlight the historical and political significance of Victory Day, and present the heroism demonstrated by Azerbaijan’s martyrs and veterans as an example for the younger generation.

During the two-day competition, teams representing various educational institutions competed in highly engaging and competitive matches that attracted considerable interest.

According to the tournament results:

🥇 1st place – Team of Mingachevir State University

🥈 2nd place – Team of Mingachevir Technical College (MTC)

🥉 3rd place – Team of “ASAN Profession”

The winners of the tournament were awarded cups and diplomas by the Central Aran Regional Youth and Sports Department.

The tournament organized at Mingachevir State University was notable for contributing not only to the physical development of young people but also to the strengthening of their national and patriotic spirit.
