On May 14, 2026, a scientific conference titled “Culture in the Integration of Museums and Education,” dedicated to May 18 – International Museum Day, was held at the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan.

At the opening ceremony, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Historical Sciences Farhad Jabbarov, and Associate Professor Aygun Gadirova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy at Mingachevir State University, delivered opening remarks.

Faculty members and students of Mingachevir State University actively participated in the event. Senior lecturers of the Department of Humanities, Vusala Movlayeva and Saadat Agakishiyeva, as well as master’s student Ilaha Ibrahimova, delivered presentations on various topics, sharing their views on museum pedagogy, preservation of literary heritage, and the importance of university-museum cooperation.

As part of the conference, an экскурсия to the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan was organized for participants, followed by a visit to historical landmarks in the city of Baku.

The event was of significant importance in enhancing students’ interest in historical and cultural heritage, promoting national and moral values, and applying academic knowledge in a practical context.
