An open lesson on the topic “Waste Management” was organized for E-23 group students by Aysel Bayramova, a lecturer of the Department of Natural Sciences at Mingachevir State University.
In order to ensure the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical industry experience, Farid Malikov, a leading advisor and representative of the Regional Department of Ecology and Natural Resources No. 8 (RETSI), participated in the session.
Within the framework of the lesson, Farid Malikov delivered a presentation on “Legal Framework and State Control in Hazardous Waste Management.” The presentation provided a detailed explanation of the existing legislative framework, state standards, and environmental monitoring mechanisms in the field of waste management.
At the same time, Aysel Bayramova delivered a presentation on “Using Waste as a Resource in the Circular Economy Model.” The speech highlighted, on a scientific basis, the efficient utilization of waste, resource efficiency, and the role of the circular economy in ensuring environmental sustainability.
The open lesson, organized in accordance with modern teaching methods, continued in an interactive format. Extensive discussions were held on the topic, and students’ questions were thoroughly addressed.
It should be noted that organizing such open lessons plays an important role in enhancing students’ practical knowledge and in shaping their awareness of environmental responsibility and sustainable development principles.
