Scientific Seminar of Doctoral Candidates, Dissertation Researchers and Young Scholars Held at Mingachevir State University

On March 13, 2026, a scientific seminar dedicated to Science Day within the framework of the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture” was held at Mingachevir State University, organized by the Scientific Research and Innovation Department. The seminar brought together doctoral candidates, dissertation researchers, and young scholars.

The event was attended by members of the university’s academic staff, heads of various structural units, doctoral candidates, dissertation researchers, and young lecturers.

At the opening of the seminar, Head of the Scientific Research and Innovation Department Ramil Hasanov delivered a speech highlighting the significance of the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture” as well as the important role of Science Day in the development of scientific activity in the country. He emphasized the importance of encouraging young researchers to engage in scientific work, developing their research skills, and strengthening the scientific environment at the university.

Afterwards, Associate Professor Ceyhun Mahmudov, Advisor to the Rector of Mingachevir State University on the Organization and Management of the Educational Process, spoke about the fundamental role of science and education in the development of society and stressed the importance of strengthening research activities within universities.

According to the seminar program, presentations by nine young doctoral candidates, dissertation researchers, and lecturers from various scientific fields were delivered. The presented topics were widely discussed, an exchange of views took place, and a number of proposals were put forward.

It should be noted that Mingachevir State University regularly organizes various scientific events aimed at supporting the scientific activities of doctoral candidates, dissertation researchers, and young scholars, developing their research potential, and strengthening the scientific environment at the university.
