A scientific seminar on “Ergonomics in Work and Educational Environments” was delivered by a representative of Mingachevir State University

A scientific seminar on “Ergonomics in Work and Educational Environments” was held at Ganja State University. The seminar was delivered by a representative of Mingachevir State University (MSU), senior lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, PhD in Pedagogy, Goychak Pirverdiyeva.

The seminar was opened with an introductory speech. Sevda Gurbanaliyeva, Head of the Department of Music Subjects at Ganja State University and Doctor of Arts, emphasized the relevance of the topic in the modern era. The event was attended by an academic staff consisting of professors, associate professors, and senior lecturers.

The main objective of the seminar was to explain the importance of applying ergonomic principles to ensure health, comfort, and productivity in work and educational environments. Participants were provided with detailed information on proper sitting posture, efficient workplace organization, and reducing health risks associated with the use of computers and musical instruments. The topic was comprehensively explained through slide presentations and interactive discussions.

As a result of the seminar, participants gained a deeper understanding of the role of ergonomics in work and educational settings and enhanced their knowledge on creating proper working conditions. It was noted that adherence to ergonomic principles contributes significantly to preventing health problems and increasing productivity.

At the end of the seminar, it was emphasized that furniture and equipment used in work and educational environments should comply with ergonomic standards, proper lighting and ventilation should be ensured, and regular breaks should be taken during prolonged activities.
