The leadership of Mingachevir State University listened to student and citizen appeals

On May 19, 2026, Mingachevir State University held its очередной citizen reception for students, master’s students, parents, and members of the public, with the participation of the university’s rector, Anar Eminov.

Within the framework of the reception, participants’ appeals and proposals were heard, and extensive discussions were conducted on student welfare, academic development, the quality of institutional services, and the improvement of a modern educational environment. The university leadership demonstrated a prompt and attentive approach to the appeals, issued relevant instructions in appropriate areas, and determined implementation mechanisms.

During the meeting, particular attention was given to strengthening a student-centered governance model, improving the quality of education, expanding practical and application-oriented learning opportunities, and supporting students’ academic and professional development.

The appeals mainly focused on improving the quality of internships, enhancing academic advising and mentoring mechanisms, developing student–faculty collaboration, expanding employment and career opportunities, and increasing access to international mobility and exchange programs.

It was emphasized that the initiatives and proposals voiced during the reception are of significant importance for the university in terms of:

  • increasing student satisfaction;
  • developing an inclusive and accessible educational environment;
  • strengthening transparent and accountable governance principles;
  • improving academic support services;
  • enhancing internationalization and institutional quality indicators.

It was noted that the regular citizen receptions organized at Mingachevir State University serve to promote open dialogue between the university leadership and students and the public, strengthen institutional trust, and contribute to the formation of a modern university governance model aligned with international higher education standards.
