The Next Conference of the Student Scientific Society Held at Mingachevir State University within the Framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty”

On November 26, 2025, the XX scientific-practical conference of the Student Scientific Society of Mingachevir State University was held within the framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty.” The conference, organized in the university’s assembly hall, was attended by the academic-administrative staff, professors, lecturers, and students of the university.

First, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed, and the cherished memory of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland was honored with a one-minute silence.

Opening the conference with an introductory speech, Rector of MDU Anar Eminov emphasized that such scientific-practical events are of great importance for the development of students’ research skills, their integration into the scientific environment, and the further strengthening of scientific traditions at the university. In his speech, he particularly highlighted the importance of increasing the number of research projects with more realistic and measurable outcomes and called on students to participate more actively in scientific activities on current and relevant topics.

The rector noted that the development of student science is one of the priority directions of the university administration and stated that consistent steps will be taken in the coming years to further support this field and encourage students’ scientific initiatives.

Then, in accordance with the conference program, students’ presentations were delivered. The following students of MDU presented reports on various topics:

  • Khanim Mammadova — “From Energy Dependence to Diversification: The Role of the Non-Oil Sector in Azerbaijan’s Economic Sovereignty”
  • Dinar Guluzade — “Account Takeover through Cross-Site Scripting”
  • Khalida Jumayeva — “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Learning English and Its Areas of Application”
  • Anar Ismayilov — “The Economic Potential of the Union of Turkic States”
  • Eltun Nasibov — “Implementation of the Industry 4.0 Concept in Azerbaijan”
  • Nargiz Nabizada — “Ethical Aspects of Using ChatGPT and Other AI Tools in the Educational Process”
  • Seljan Eyubzade — “A Statistical Overview of the Results of the Economic Policy of the Independent Azerbaijani State”
  • Ayishan Gadirli — “The Working Principle of Solar Panels”
  • Fatima Mammadli — “Infinity and Cantor Theory in Mathematics”

The presented reports were received with great interest by the participants, and the event concluded with a commemorative group photo.

It should be noted that, in accordance with the series of events organized by Mingachevir State University, various activities within the framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty” continue to be held.
