Young Academics of Mingachevir State University Participate in the 3rd International Congress of Strategic Research on the Turkic World

On May 15–17, 2026, the 3rd International Congress of Strategic Research on the Turkic World, titled “Cooperation Based on Turkic Friendship: Perspectives of International Relations from History to the Future,” was held in Istanbul. The congress was jointly organized by the Faculty of Political Sciences of Marmara University and the Union of Yoruk Turkmen of the Turkic World.

The international event was supported by the Organization of Turkic States, TURKSOY, International Turkic Academy, Union of Municipalities of the Turkic World, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), and Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), bringing together scholars, researchers, and experts from various countries.

Representing Mingachevir State University, young academics Lamiya Orujova and Sema Suleymanova participated in the congress and successfully showcased the university on an international academic platform.

The congress featured extensive discussions on the development of strategic cooperation across the Turkic world, emerging models of international collaboration, economic integration, cultural diplomacy, regional partnerships, and sustainable development prospects. Participants emphasized the importance of preserving the shared values of the Turkic world and expanding scientific and academic cooperation among Turkic communities.

The participation of MSU’s young academics in such a prestigious international congress is of great significance for strengthening the university’s international academic relations, enhancing its global visibility, and promoting its academic potential.
