A presentation on “Financial Literacy and Personal Budget Management” was held at Mingachevir State University

A presentation on “Financial Literacy and Personal Budget Management” was held at Mingachevir State University with the organization of the Department of Economics in a hybrid format. Academic staff members and students of the university participated in the event.

During the presentation, Chief Accountant of the Education Student Loan Fund, Mahammadali Abdin, and Chief Specialist of the Fund, Mirshahin Abdullayev, delivered speeches and provided detailed information about the concept of financial literacy, the importance of proper management of personal finances, and the main principles of budget planning.

During their speeches, issues such as income and expense planning, preparing a personal budget, developing saving habits, and proper management of loans and debts were discussed as key elements of personal financial management. In addition, the importance of monitoring daily expenses, determining financial priorities, and creating an emergency fund for unexpected situations was explained to the participants.

The speakers also emphasized the importance of preparing a budget plan, optimizing expenses, developing saving and investment habits, and making well-considered financial decisions in order to ensure financial stability.

At the end of the event, participants’ questions were answered and discussions were held around the topic.
