A practical training on the topic “Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Innovation in Industrial Enterprises” was organized at RESH LLC for students of Mingachevir State University, with the aim of promoting industry–university cooperation and advancing sustainable development principles. The event was of significant importance in terms of applying students’ theoretical knowledge in a real industrial environment.
Within the framework of the training, students gained extensive and practice-oriented knowledge in key areas of modern industry. Particular attention was paid to sustainable production and energy efficiency, industrial safety and green technologies, as well as innovation management. It was noted that these areas play an important role in increasing the competitiveness of modern industry and strengthening environmental responsibility.
During the training, Alim Najafov, a lecturer from the Department of Energy, and Rovshan Mustafayev, Chief Engineer of RESH LLC, delivered presentations and provided detailed information on the application of sustainable development principles in industrial enterprises, efficient use of resources, and the transition of enterprises to international sustainability standards. The importance of applying theoretical knowledge in real production processes was especially emphasized.
The main objective of the training was to develop students’ skills in resource efficiency and clean production, strengthen industry–university cooperation, and prepare future specialists in accordance with the requirements of the green economy.
At the end of the event, it was noted that Mingachevir State University continues to cooperate closely with its industrial partners to enhance students’ practical knowledge and skills, and that such initiatives will be implemented on a larger scale in the future.
