The expedition, organized by the Department of Physics and Ecology, involved faculty members, master’s students, and first-year students of the Chemistry-Biology program, and took place along the Yevlakh-Aghdash route. During the expedition, live samples of regional plant and animal species were collected, and the preparation of possible herbarium specimens was carried out. The collected samples will serve as a key resource for future research and ecological monitoring activities.
Through the expedition, students not only enhanced their practical skills but also gained detailed knowledge about the biological diversity of the region. The activity also contributed to the development of scientific research and ecological awareness.
It should be noted that expeditions of this kind will continue regularly to enrich the regional flora and fauna database. This initiative strengthens the university’s ecological research efforts while providing significant opportunities for students to develop practical scientific competencies.
