On May 8, 2026, Mingachevir State University (MSU), within the framework of its sustainable development, environmental responsibility, and Green Campus strategy, signed a cooperation agreement with RiverSide Hotel operating in Mingachevir city in the field of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Within the framework of the signed cooperation, support will be provided for charging electric cars, scooters, and other environmentally friendly transportation vehicles for university staff, students, and city residents. According to the agreement reached between the parties, the charging facilities located at RiverSide Hotel will be utilized as part of MSU’s green transportation initiatives.
It was noted that this cooperation constitutes an important component of the university’s activities aimed at reducing carbon emissions, promoting the use of alternative energy, and fostering an environmentally sustainable transportation culture.
It was also emphasized that the university has recently been implementing a number of initiatives within the Green Campus concept. Promoting the use of electric transportation vehicles, increasing energy efficiency, and strengthening environmental sustainability occupy a special place among MSU’s strategic development priorities.
