In accordance with Clause 2.1 of the special Decree signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on June 5, 2025, titled “On the Establishment of the Organizing Committee in Connection with the Holding of the Thirteenth Session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13),” a relevant Action Plan was prepared.

In line with the Action Plan, another presentation regarding the aforementioned decree was held on January 22, 2026, organized by the Department of Science and Innovations of Mingachevir State University. During the event, attended by staff members of the university’s Department of Business and Management, Head of the Department of Science and Innovations Vugar Mustafayev provided detailed information about the forum and spoke about its significance for the country.

At the end of the presentation, extensive information was provided and discussions were held regarding the Action Plan prepared at Mingachevir State University in connection with the declaration of 2026 as the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture” in Azerbaijan by the decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on December 22, 2025.

At the conclusion of the event, which attracted great interest, numerous questions from the participants were answered.
