At The Bachelor’s level, specialists are trained at the bachelor’s level in the following specialties:

3.050622 Ground vehicle engineering

4.050643 Technology engineering of multi-working goods

And at the master’s level, specialists are trained in the specialty 060622 “Ground Vehicle Engineering”.

The educational program on Bachelor’s degree, 050622 “ground vehicles engineering” and 050643 “technology engineering of working goods” has been prepared in accordance with the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “on education”, the requirements of the “state standard and program of Higher Education”, “Rules of content and organization of Bachelor’s Education”approved by the relevant decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the. There are textbooks, teaching aids, methodical instructions for the implementation of laboratory work and projects in all subjects of the Department’s specialties. The department has specialized audiences. The order of stamps of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been given to 28 subject programs on specialty subjects and general technical subjects.

The characteristic in the specialty 050622-“engineering of ground vehicles” and 050643-“engineering of Technology of working goods” includes the following:

– in accordance with the fundamental and professional training of the bachelor, he/she must be ready for professional activities in the areas of work in his specialty, as well as for studying in the magistracy in his specialty;

– any production areas, organizations, departments, enterprises, associations, etc., which correspond to their profession and degree of specialization, regardless of the form of ownership and subordination, he/she must be able to work in spheres;

– he/she must be able to work in various educational institutions, observing the existing rules.

In addition to the bachelor’s level, the department has been operating since the 2016/2017 academic year on the specialty of Master’s level 060622-“engineering of Ground Vehicles” approved by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 12, 2009 No. 08.

– According to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 11, 2019 No. 45 “classification of specialties on Bachelor’s degree of Higher Education”(valid from September 15, 2019), Mingachevir State University (6.Group of technical and technological specialties-a total of 40 specialties) information on the specialties training of personnel at the Department of ” mechanics:

-According to the educational program on the specialty of The Bachelor’s degree approved by the decree of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. F-370 dated 13.08.2020;

050632 – In accordance with the professional activity of the specialist training in the specialty” transport engineering”, graduates are engaged in research, design, production, operation, service and repair of ground vehicles and railway vehicles, railway transport means of movement, their aggregates and mechanisms, technological equipment and complexes, control systems and devices, in the infrastructure and management network of ground transport and railway, they can work in organizations that carry out the processes of emergency situations and elimination of the consequences of natural disasters, in enterprises and organizations that carry out the planning of urban transport and railway transport, organization, regulation and management of road traffic, ensure the safety of vehicles, carry out auto technical expertise, ensure the safety of traffic of urban passenger transport.

They can also work in the transport sector in the fields of “project-constructor”, “production-technological” and “organizational-administrative”. These include ground vehicles, transport and technological complexes and equipment and their repair, modernization and modification, production of vehicles, processing of technical and technological documentation on the infrastructure of vehicles, organization and safety of road traffic, implementation of technical service, etc.

Production planning, logistics, quality management, marketing and sales, procurement, human resources, product and process development, financial planning, research and development, academic career, innovation applications, data management, etc. the areas are among the areas where industrial engineers can work.

In the industrial sector, it is used in textile enterprises, in the operation of machinery, facilities and equipment, in the production of semi-finished products, in raw material supply enterprises of light industry products, Planning and standardization of sorting and production work, etc. they can operate in jobs. The purpose of staffing the industrial engineering specialty is mainly to provide qualified personnel to “Mingachevir Textile” LLS, one of the largest enterprises in the region where Mingachevir State University is located. The specialty of industrial engineering began to be taught by universities at the beginning of the twentieth century. In the United States, this education was first introduced in 1908. In 1926, the same directional specialty began to be taught at the Berlin TU. This specialty was originally called” Economics and technology ” and was not very well received. Until the end of the 60s, very few universities taught this specialty. Later, the name was changed to industrial engineering. And today it is very widespread. Although the specialty is not so well known in Azerbaijan, it is a very interesting and valuable specialty. In terms of career prospects, it ranks 3rd in the United States.

Note: Industrial Engineering and sustainable development management are the same specialty. The difference between them is that the specialty of Industrial Engineering is entered by the exam of the 1st Group, and the management of sustainable development-by the exam of the 2nd group. In addition, in the 1st group preference is given to technical subjects in the specialty, and in the 2nd group more preference is given to economic subjects.

Industrial engineering is described by the synthesis of mathematical, physical, social and engineering sciences. Industrial engineering is a complex of services aimed at creating and further developing new production or restructuring and modernizing existing production. Engineering implies full-fledged strategic planning, taking into account not only the technical side of this process, but also the specifics of an enterprise.
