Mingachevir State University’s 2025 Financial Report discussed at the Scientific Council

A meeting of the Scientific Council dedicated to the results of Mingachevir State University’s financial activities for 2025 was held at the university.

The meeting was attended by the university leadership, members of the Scientific Council, heads of structural divisions, and relevant staff members. During the meeting, MSU’s financial report for 2025 was presented, and a broad exchange of views was held on strengthening the university’s financial sustainability, ensuring the efficient use of resources, financing strategic priorities, and the work carried out in the field of sustainable development.

It was noted that during the reporting period, the management of financial resources was carried out in accordance with the university’s strategic development goals. The financial resources were directed toward improving the quality of education, supporting scientific research and innovation activities, expanding digital transformation processes, developing student-oriented services, modernizing infrastructure, and implementing sustainability initiatives.

During the discussions, it was emphasized that the transparent and responsible financial management mechanisms applied at the university are among the important elements of institutional development. It was noted that the control mechanisms and internal monitoring system implemented in financial planning and expenditure execution serve to ensure the efficient use of financial resources, minimize risks, and secure long-term financial sustainability.

The meeting also positively assessed the work carried out to strengthen the financial support of teaching and research activities, expand international cooperation opportunities, develop the digital university model, and finance green campus initiatives.

Members of the Scientific Council shared their views and proposals regarding the financial report and made relevant recommendations on further improving the university’s financial management system.

As a result of the discussions, Mingachevir State University’s financial report for 2025 was positively evaluated and approved by the Scientific Council. It was considered appropriate to continue activities aimed at implementing the strategic goals set for the next period.

It should be noted that financial reporting, transparency, and accountable governance at MSU have been defined as one of the key priorities of the university’s sustainable development strategy.
