On April 3, 2026, a presentation ceremony regarding a new staff appointment was held at Mingachevir State University. Rector Anar Eminov introduced Firuza Jalilova as the newly appointed Head of the Public Relations and Marketing Department – Press Secretary of the university.

In his speech, Rector Anar Eminov emphasized that the effective organization of public relations plays an important role in the activities of higher education institutions in the modern era. In this regard, confidence was expressed that the new appointment would make a significant contribution to further strengthening the university’s information policy.

It was noted that Firuza Jalilova possesses extensive educational and scientific experience. She studied at the Faculty of Journalism of Baku State University and obtained a master’s degree in the same field. Later, she completed her education in pedagogy and psychology at the Faculty of Preschool Education of the Baku Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Pedagogical Personnel.

Between 2008 and 2013, she pursued doctoral studies in pedagogy at the Preschool Education Department of the Institute of Educational Problems and successfully defended her dissertation titled “The Use of Interactive Teaching Methods in Preschool Educational Institutions,” earning the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogy.

During the presentation, Firuza Jalilova expressed gratitude for the trust shown in her and stated that she would work diligently toward further developing the university’s public relations activities.

At the end of the event, members of the staff congratulated the newly appointed administrator and wished her success in her future activities.
