A series of activities have been carried out at Mingachevir State University within the framework of an awareness campaign titled “Reducing Food and Resource Waste,” aligned with sustainable development principles.
The main objective of the campaign was to strengthen awareness among students and the university community regarding the negative impacts of food waste, the efficient use of resources, and the promotion of sustainable consumption habits.
During the event, participants were provided with detailed information on ways to reduce food waste, practical approaches applicable in daily life, and the importance of using resources efficiently. At the same time, the environmental and economic problems caused by food waste on a global scale were highlighted.
