On October 2, 2025, a Hackathon dedicated to the development of innovative ideas on the theme “Social Support and Entrepreneurship” was held among students of Mingachevir State University.

Students of the specialties Social-Psychological Services in Education, Social Work, and Preschool Education of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology participated in the event. The project mentors were the department’s staff members Gülnar Məmmədova, Ayşən İsmayılova, and Gültəkin Knyazova.

The main objective of the hackathon was to promote innovative thinking among students, encourage creative approaches to social and educational challenges, and develop young people’s project design and presentation skills.

Within the framework of the event, participating students presented their project ideas and innovative initiatives, proposing various conceptual approaches aimed at solving social problems. The presentations were evaluated based on several criteria, including the relevance and innovativeness of the projects, their practical significance, and the students’ presentation skills.

At the end of the event, it was emphasized that initiatives of this kind play an important role in revealing students’ creative potential, strengthening their sense of social responsibility, and encouraging them to apply innovative approaches in their future professional activities.
