On December 14, 2025, a competition titled “Accessible Education Platform” was held at the Youth House in Mingachevir, organized by the Faculty of Education of Mingachevir State University. During the event, students of the university participated in teams and presented innovative ideas and projects aimed at ensuring equal opportunities in education.
The main aim of the competition was to promote equal opportunities in education, support the formation of an accessible and inclusive educational environment for everyone, and encourage the emergence of innovative ideas from young people in this field.
Within the framework of the event, participants presented various ideas and solutions related to promoting inclusivity in education, applying modern technologies and digital platforms in the learning process, and developing an accessible and high-quality education model. The competition also played an important role in developing students’ teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as encouraging their creative and initiative-based activities.
Three teams — “NextStarEdu,” “Smart Steps,” and “Edu4All” — participated in the competition. The “NextStarEdu” team was led by captain Aygun Aliyeva, with members Mirzakhra Agayeva and Laman Mikayil. The “Smart Steps” team was led by Zeynab Mehralizade, with Nuray Shiraliyeva as a team member. The “Edu4All” team was led by captain Rayfa Mustafazade, with Farrhad Hashimov as a member.
According to the results of the competition, the “NextStarEdu” team won first place. The winning team was awarded gifts and certificates, while the members of the other teams received participation certificates.
It should be noted that such initiatives organized at Mingachevir State University contribute significantly to promoting the principles of inclusivity and equal opportunities in education, supporting innovative ideas among young people, and expanding the application of modern technologies in the educational environment.
