A seminar dedicated to the global impacts of climate change and its relationship with food security was held at Mingachevir State University. The main purpose of the event was to highlight the effects of climate change on the agricultural sector, food production, and the population’s food supply.
During the seminar, key risks caused by climate change—such as the depletion of water resources, declining soil fertility, and reduced productivity—were extensively discussed. At the same time, special emphasis was placed on the importance of implementing sustainable agricultural practices, adopting innovative approaches, and maintaining ecological balance.
Participants were provided with detailed information on adaptation strategies to climate change, efficient use of natural resources, and measures that can be taken to ensure food security in the future.
The seminar was organized in an interactive format, allowing participants to share their views and proposals, followed by active discussions.
It should be noted that such awareness-raising events play a significant role in increasing public sensitivity to environmental issues, ensuring sustainable development, and protecting a healthy environment for future generations.
