On December 20, 2025, a hackathon competition on the topic “Emergency Medical Aid and Rescue Technologies” was held at the Mingachevir Youth House. During the event, teams of students from Mingachevir State University presented their innovative ideas and projects under the mentorship of lecturers from the university’s Department of Mechanics.

Five teams — Smartlife24, Qarabag, Uğur, HSE TEAM, and Robotexniklər — participated in the hackathon and presented projects focused on improving the efficiency and responsiveness of emergency medical aid and rescue processes through the application of modern technologies. During the presentations, issues such as the development of first aid skills, the role of the human factor, increasing operational response capacity in emergency situations, and the application of technological solutions were widely discussed.

The jury evaluated the teams’ presentations based on criteria such as innovation, practical applicability, and social significance. According to the results of the competition, the Robotexniklər team won first place, the Qarabag team took second place, and the HSE TEAM secured third place, earning the opportunity to advance to the next stage of the competition.

It should be noted that hackathons and similar innovation-based competitions play an important role in developing students’ technological knowledge and skills, strengthening their ability to offer creative and practical solutions to real-world problems, and expanding cooperation between the university and society.
