A training session on “Ways to Succeed in Small and Medium-Sized Businesses” was held at Mingachevir State University. Within the framework of the training, current issues related to the development prospects of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the formation of sustainable business models, and modern management approaches were discussed.
The main objective of the training was to foster entrepreneurial thinking among students and young people, prepare them for the business environment, and equip them with knowledge and skills aligned with the principles of sustainable economic development.
During the training, lecturers of the Department of Business and Management, Tarana Suleymanova and Jafar Jafarli, delivered presentations. Tarana Suleymanova provided detailed insights into the key principles of success in SMEs, including effective planning, market research, and the application of innovative approaches.
Jafar Jafarli, in his speech, highlighted risk management in entrepreneurial activities, ensuring financial sustainability, and effective strategies for achieving success in a competitive environment.
In line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particular emphasis was placed on promoting inclusive economic growth, creating decent employment opportunities, and supporting innovative entrepreneurship.
The training concluded with an interactive discussion, where participants exchanged views, asked questions, and emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives in the future.
