Online section meetings of international scientific conference held at MSU

On December 9, Mingachevir State University (MSU) hosted online sessions of the international scientific conference organized in hybrid format on “Sustainable Development Strategy: global trends, national practices and new goals” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

According to the press release provided by MSU, scientists and researchers from 9 countries of the world (Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Germany and the USA) were represented at the 18 online section meetings organized through the “Microsoft Teams” platform.

The reports on sustainable development strategy, quality education, Fourth Industrial Revolution, green energy, clean environment, post-conflict development challenges, new trends in the humanities, the Turkic world, the growing role of tourism in sustainable development and other topics were heard at the section meetings.

After the discussions held around the reports, which were met with interest by the participants, the work of the international conference was completed.

It should be noted that the international conference hosted by MSU was held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Economy and Mingachevir City Hall. Along with MSU, Gazi University of Turkiye, Haji Bayram Veli University of Ankara, Kayseri University, Mikolas Romeris University of Lithuania, Kiev National University of Technology and Design of Ukraine and Kyrgyz Economic University of Kyrgyzstan co-organized the International Conference.

The international conference received a total of 562 theses and articles from higher education institutions, research institutes and relevant institutions of 9 countries of the world.
