An information meeting (Info Day) on the “Orhun Exchange Program” was held at Mingachevir State University under the theme “Global Knowledge Flow and Sustainable Partnership”

An information meeting (Info Day) dedicated to student and staff mobility under the topic of the “Orhun Exchange Program” was organized at Mingachevir State University within the framework of “Global Knowledge Flow and Sustainable Partnership.” The main purpose of the event was to present the opportunities offered by the “Orhun Exchange Program” to the university’s students and academic staff, and to raise awareness in promoting academic mobility and international cooperation.

Speaking at the event, Parviz Mammadrazaev, Coordinator of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, addressed the contributions of the “Orhun Exchange Program” to expanding cooperation in higher education across the Turkic world. It was noted that the program was established to help shape a common higher education area in the Turkic world and has been operating since 2017.

It was also stated that the program facilitates student and academic staff exchanges among universities in Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Hungary. Within the program, students have the opportunity to study at a partner university for one semester, integrate into a new academic environment, develop intercultural communication skills, and gain diverse learning experience. At the same time, academic staff mobility strengthens the exchange of academic experience and contributes to improving the quality of teaching.

Following the presentation, participants’ questions were answered. A Q&A session was held on the application procedures, selection criteria, and mobility opportunities of the program, and detailed discussions took place around the issues of interest to students and faculty.

It should be noted that the thematic scope of the information meeting highlights such areas as global knowledge exchange, academic mobility, and long-term cooperation; this approach aligns with priorities such as improving the quality of higher education, expanding opportunities, and strengthening partnership networks.

Within the framework of its international partnership initiatives, Mingachevir State University considers expanding student and staff mobility to be one of its priority areas and invites the academic community to actively benefit from such opportunities.
