Another initiative aimed at strengthening environmental responsibility and promoting a sustainable campus environment has been implemented at Mingachevir State University (MSU). Special containers for different types of waste have been installed across the university campus in order to organize waste sorting and recycling processes.
Within the framework of the new initiative, separate containers for metal, plastic, and glass waste have been placed in the university’s academic buildings and common areas. In addition, special collection boxes for used batteries have been installed to prevent harmful environmental impacts caused by improper disposal.
This initiative is of great importance in terms of proper waste management, efficient use of resources, and environmental protection. At the same time, it is considered an important step toward increasing environmental awareness within the university community and fostering a culture of waste sorting and recycling among students.
Such initiatives implemented at the university contribute to strengthening environmental thinking on campus, expanding nature-friendly practices, and promoting a healthier and more sustainable environment for future generations.
