A training session on “Ecological Sanitation and Green Infrastructure” was delivered by Shabnam Islamova, a lecturer at the Department of Physics and Ecology of Mingachevir State University, for students of Samarkand State University.
Within the framework of the training, detailed information was provided on the core principles of ecological sanitation, modern approaches to water and waste management, and the role of green infrastructure in urban and campus environments. It was emphasized that protecting healthy ecosystems and ensuring efficient use of resources are key conditions for sustainable development.
During the session, innovative solutions related to green infrastructure, including rainwater management, natural filtration systems, and environmentally safe sanitation approaches, were discussed. International practices and successful models in this field were also presented to the participants.
Conducted in an interactive format, the training enabled students to actively engage in discussions, ask questions, and exchange ideas on the practical application of ecological approaches.
