On March 3, 2026, the Republican Committee of the Education and Science Workers’ Trade Union held a ceremony to present the “Trade Union Scholarship” to students who demonstrated high academic performance and active public engagement, based on the results of the 2024/2025 academic year spring examination session.

In their speeches, the participants highlighted the significance of the “Trade Union Scholarship,” noting that this initiative serves to encourage students who distinguish themselves through outstanding academic achievements, public activity, organizational skills, and active participation in the trade union movement. It was emphasized that the project plays an important role in increasing students’ interest in science, strengthening social engagement, and promoting trade union values.

According to the results of the 2024/2025 academic year spring examination session, Gunay Ahmadova, a master’s student of Mingachevir State University, as well as undergraduate students Rustam Rustamov, Sarxan Ismayilov, and Turkan Gaffarova, were awarded the “Trade Union Scholarship.”

It should be noted that promoting high academic achievement, supporting public engagement, and fostering the values of social responsibility are among the priority directions at Mingachevir State University.
