A scientific-practical seminar titled “Environmental Law and Land Protection Legislation” was held at Mingachevir State University.

The seminar was organized by the Department of Physics and Ecology and was attended by students of the Faculty of Engineering, academic staff of the department, as well as representatives of the No. 8 Department of Ecology and Natural Resources.

During the seminar, discussions were held on topics such as “Main aspects of environmental law”, “Combating soil salinization in Azerbaijan: an environmental-legal approach”, and other relevant issues. The importance of environmental law, the role of legislation in environmental protection, and the need for increasing awareness in this field were particularly emphasized.

At the end of the event, representatives of the department answered questions of interest to students and faculty members, followed by broad discussions on the topic.
