World Cuisines Come Together at Mingachevir State University: Students Demonstrate Cultural Diversity and Sustainable Campus Values

On June 12, 2026, a presentation-exhibition dedicated to world cuisines and cultural diversity was held at Mingachevir State University within the framework of the “Internationalization, Innovation and Sustainable Development Week.”

Organized by MSU’s School of Lifelong Learning, the event aimed to increase students’ interest in cultural diversity, promote international values, strengthen intercultural dialogue through the culinary traditions of different nations, and encourage the values of sharing, inclusiveness and sustainable campus culture.

The presentation-exhibition featured various dishes from Azerbaijani, Turkish, Chinese, French, American, Georgian and Japanese cuisines prepared by part-time students of DB24.1Q and DB24.2Q groups. Students provided information about the dishes they presented and shared insights into the culinary traditions, national characteristics and cultural values of the respective countries.

During the event, the presentation of world cuisines was received not only as a display of culinary samples, but also as an engaging platform for introducing different cultures, strengthening mutual respect and shaping students’ global outlook.

MSU staff members and students visited the presentation-exhibition and tasted cuisine samples from different countries. The colorful presentations, students’ creative approaches and speeches reflecting diverse cultures left pleasant impressions on the participants.

It should be noted that such events held within the framework of the “Internationalization, Innovation and Sustainable Development Week” contribute to expanding the internationalization environment at MSU, shaping students’ global outlook, and developing an inclusive, culturally diverse and sustainable campus culture.
