The Memorandum of Cooperation signed between Mingachevir State University and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan is of great importance in terms of expanding the university’s relations with the business community, increasing professional development opportunities for students and graduates, and strengthening their integration into the labour market.
The Memorandum was signed within the framework of the “Regional University–Industry Union Summit 2025” held at MSU. The document creates new opportunities for the development of university–industry cooperation, the implementation of joint initiatives with the real sector, the expansion of career opportunities for students and graduates, and the formation of human capital in line with the needs of the labour market.
Within the framework of the cooperation, it is envisaged to develop mutual relations between Mingachevir State University and 97 organizations that are members of the Confederation, as well as to present the university’s academic, scientific, and human capital potential to the entrepreneurship and employer community. This cooperation opens up broad prospects for students and graduates in terms of internship programmes, career and employment opportunities, training, mentoring, professional networking, joint projects, and the development of skills aligned with labour market needs.
The Memorandum will enable MSU students to become more closely acquainted with organizations operating in banking, finance, insurance, agriculture, industry, energy, construction, information technologies, tourism, healthcare, law, consulting, manufacturing, services, and trade. At the same time, it will open up important opportunities for connecting graduates with enterprises and organizations relevant to their qualifications and skills, increasing their competitiveness in the labour market, and supporting their professional development trajectories.
This partnership will contribute to strengthening MSU’s “university–industry–society” cooperation model, aligning teaching and research activities with the needs of the real sector, developing a student-oriented career ecosystem, and further increasing the university’s role in regional socio-economic development.
It should be noted that the members of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan include associations, banks, companies, manufacturing enterprises, public unions, consulting, and service organizations representing various sectors of the national economy. This extensive partnership network is of particular importance in terms of creating diverse development, internship, and career opportunities for MSU students and graduates.
