On July 6, 2026, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Mingachevir State University and “Cybersign” LLC within the framework of the opening ceremony of the V “Cyber Summer School 2026” (CSS-2026).
The document was signed by Anar Eminov, Rector of Mingachevir State University, and Elvin Akhundov, Executive Director of “Cybersign” LLC.
The main purpose of the memorandum is to enhance the knowledge and practical skills of MSU students and master’s students, as well as academic and administrative staff, in the areas of cybersecurity, digital literacy, cyber hygiene, information security and modern digital defense solutions.
Within the framework of the cooperation, it is planned to develop training programs for students on cybersecurity and digital risk management, as well as organize master classes, seminars, simulations, career-oriented events, mentoring activities and opportunities for practical experience.
According to the document, the parties will also cooperate in integrating practical knowledge into the educational process in areas such as cyber hygiene, phishing protection, SOC 24/7 security operations, threat analysis, log management, monitoring and incident response approaches.
The memorandum will also create opportunities to support cyber awareness initiatives at the university, including “Cyber Hygiene Week”, open lessons, awareness campaigns, hackathons, scientific-practical events and student startups.
It should be noted that the memorandum has been concluded for a period of five years and aims to contribute to the development of a long-term strategic partnership between MSU and “Cybersign” LLC in the fields of cybersecurity and digital defense.
