On February 13, 2026, within the framework of the “Forum on Quality, Sustainability, and Innovation in Education” hosted by Mingachevir State University, a Collaboration Memorandum was signed between the university and Holberton School Azerbaijan.
The Memorandum was signed by Anar Eminov, Rector of Mingachevir State University, and Shamsi Bayramzade, Director of HS AZ LLC, establishing the foundation for a long-term and systematic partnership in the fields of information technology, digital skills development, and innovative education models.
According to the agreement, the parties will collaborate on training qualified personnel in programming, artificial intelligence, software development, and other digital competencies, implementing technological and innovative projects, and developing human capital aligned with labor market demands.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, activities will include student and internship exchange programs, organization of seminars, working meetings, and joint projects, as well as integration of modern technological solutions and innovative teaching methods into educational programs. Additionally, the parties plan to establish mechanisms for mutual use of laboratories, training rooms, and other technical resources.
The collaboration also provides for free training courses by Holberton School Azerbaijan for students of Mingachevir State University at both undergraduate and master’s levels, as well as participants in professional development programs. This initiative aims to strengthen students’ practical skills, promote a project-based learning model, and develop knowledge and competencies in line with global IT standards.
It should be noted that this Collaboration Memorandum is of significant importance for expanding innovative approaches in higher education, strengthening the digital ecosystem in the region, and equipping students with modern technological knowledge and skills.
