On May 25, 2026, an educational seminar on “Digital Culture and Cybersecurity” was organized for students at “Mingachevir Textile” LLC on the initiative of the Internship and Career Department of Mingachevir State University.

The main purpose of the seminar was to enhance students’ knowledge and skills regarding safe behavior in the modern digital environment, methods of protection against cyber threats, and the development of digital culture. The seminar was delivered by Yasin Guliyev, Head of the IT Department of “Mingachevir Textile” LLC.

During the seminar, participants received detailed information about ensuring security on digital platforms, protecting personal data, risks posed by cybercrime, principles of proper behavior on social media, as well as the importance of following cybersecurity rules in everyday life and professional activities. During the interactive session, students’ numerous questions were answered and useful discussions were conducted based on real-life examples.

The students welcomed the seminar with great interest and satisfaction, emphasizing that such initiatives play an important role in enriching their theoretical knowledge and supporting their professional development.
