Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on approval of the memorandum and reorganization of Mingachevir State University

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 2009, 5 No. 156, half paragraph 2.12.1 of the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “on the application of the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan” “on education”, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan decides:

To reorganize Mingachevir State University into Mingachevir State University, which has the status of a public legal entity under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

To approve the "Charter of Mingachevir State University" (attached).

The Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan

The Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan was prepared by the commission, which prepared a draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan under the chairmanship of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, and adopted on November 12, 1995, at a national popular vote (referendum). It entered into force on November 27, 1995. Besides it, with the changes adopted at the popular vote (referendum) on August 24, 2002, with the additions and changes adopted at the popular vote (referendum) on March 18, 2009, With additions and changes adopted at the national vote (referendum) held on September 26, 2016.

Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan" On education"

“Təhsil haqqında” Azərbaycan Respublikasının Qanununun tətbiq edilməsi barədə Azərbaycan Respublikası Prezidentinin Fərmanı “Təhsil haqqında” Azərbaycan Respublikasının 2009-cu il 19 iyun tarixli 833-IIIQ nömrəli Qanununun qüvvəyə minməsi ilə əlaqədar həmin Qanunun tətbiq edilməsini təmin etmək məqsədi ilə

QƏRARA ALIRAM:

1. Azərbaycan Respublikasının Nazirlər Kabinetinə tapşırılsın ki, üç ay müddətində: 

1.1. qüvvədə olan qanunvericilik aktlarının “Təhsil haqqında” Azərbaycan Respublikasının Qanununa uyğunlaşdırılması, o cümlədən bu Fərmanın 2.3-2.8-ci bəndlərinə uyğun olaraq həmin Qanunda nəzərdə tutulmuş vəzifələrlə bağlı müvafiq dövlət orqanlarının əsasnamələrinə əlavələrin edilməsi barədə təkliflərini hazırlayıb Azərbaycan Respublikasının Prezidentinə təqdim etsin;

Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the establishment of Mingachevir State University

In order to rationalize the network of educational institutions in the Republic of Azerbaijan, I decide, guided by Article 109, paragraph 32 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan:

1.To establish Mingachevir State University under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the basis of Mingachevir Polytechnic Institute under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which carries out training of personnel for all levels of Higher Education.

2. Cabinet of Ministers of The Republic of Azerbaijan:

2.1. To ensure that the material and technical base of the liquidated Mingachevir branch of the Azerbaijan Teachers Institute is transferred to the balance of Mingachevir State University within two months;
