On April 24, 2026, students of Mingachevir State University achieved a notable result at the “GreenTech III” Startup and Green Technologies Competition held at Azerbaijan Technological University.

Among 100 teams representing various higher education institutions across the country, the “AgroRover” team of Mingachevir State University was awarded second place in the “Digital Solutions and Robotics” category.

The team members included university students Mahammad Mugumov and Subhan Mammadli. The team was mentored by Aziz Amiraslanov, a lecturer at Mingachevir State University.

The “AgroRover” project attracted the attention of the jury with its innovative approach and technological solutions, receiving high evaluation. This achievement is considered an indicator of the students’ knowledge and skills, innovative thinking, and readiness for practical application.

It should be noted that such competitions play a significant role in enabling students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, develop teamwork skills, and actively engage in innovation-driven initiatives.
